Agartala-Kolkata transport administration through Dhaka set to continue following 2 years

Agartala: After a two-year break because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Agartala-Kolkata worldwide transport administration by means of Dhaka would continue from Thursday, an authority said.

A 40-seater transport is set to start its excursion from Tripura State Transport Corporation International Terminal at Krishnanagar here to Kolkata at 10 am, he said.

The offer of tickets initiated today. A traveler needs to have a substantial identification and travel visa to board the Kolkata-bound transport, said TRTC MD Rajesh Kumar Das.

The assistance will be accessible for six days in seven days, besides on Fridays, and the charge has been fixed at Rs 2,300 for every traveler, Das said.

The transport will cover a distance of around 500 km from Agartala to Kolkata through Dhaka in close to 19 hours. A train venture between the two objections through Guwahati requires something like 35 hours, authorities said.

The global transport administration will help individuals in the midst of taking off air admissions and lack of significant distance train tickets, they said.
