
Against power tariff hike, central students union held a mass protest
Guwahati: The Central Students’ Union of Kaliabor has taken to the streets in a formidable display of dissent against the power department, decrying a recent hike in power tariffs and the persistent issue of erratic power supply. The protest, which reached a crescendo with the burning of the effigy of the Power Minister, unfolded dramatically on National Highway 715 in Kuwaritol, Kaliabor.
