Dimapur: The Eastern Nagaland People’s Organization (ENPO) on August 26, 2022 relaxed its resolution to abstain from any electoral process in Nagaland to press for its demand for a frontier Nagaland state.
The organization took the decision in its executive emergency meeting here on Saturday.

The organization said that it has taken serious notice of the MHA’s letter dated August 16, 2003 to its President revising the August 26 resolution to ensure free, fair and equitable elections in the state in the larger interest of democracy in the country. To ensure peaceful assembly elections.
“In confidence with the Union Home Minister and MHA, ENPO has relaxed the resolution dated August 26, 2022 in the interest of fair and peaceful conduct of elections in the state,” the statement added.
