After CM’s wife land issue Opposition protests and staged walk-out

Guwahati: The opposition party staged a walk-out on the floor of the House on the fourth day of the autumn session of the Legislative Assembly and protested after Speaker Biswajit Daimary refused to discuss the issue of the Chief Minister’s wife’s land, saying it was not in order.
Angry at the progress and refusal to discuss the issue, the opposition protested and raised slogans demanding a debate on the issue.
Meanwhile, the Speaker adjourned the proceedings of the House for 15 minutes as the opposition decided to walk-out of the House protesting the issue.

Holding placards, the opposition members have demanded an investigation into the land subsidy issue of the Chief Minister’s wife.
