Mizoram Assembly Elections 2023
Aizawl: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has announced that it will field candidates on at least 25 of the 40 seats in the Mizoram Assembly Elections 2023 next year.
This was said by Mizoram AAP senior leader Andrew Lalremkima while briefing the media on Friday.
“We are considering contesting at least 25 seats,” said Mizoram AAP leader Andrew Lalremkima.
He said that the party is looking for good and suitable candidates in Mizoram, who are acceptable to the people of the state and also win elections.
“We are looking for courageous and upright people who can be fielded as candidates in the assembly elections,” the Mizoram AAP leader said.
A senior AAP leader from Mizoram said top party leaders from Delhi will campaign for the elections in Mizoram next year.
“Our leaders in Delhi, including party founder Arvind Kejriwal, will campaign for our candidates,” he said.
The announcement by the Mizoram AAP unit comes just a day after the party bagged 13% vote share in the Gujarat polls.
