Guwahati: A Unified Liberation Front of Asom-Independent (ULFA-I) fighter gave himself over in Assam’s Charaideo region before police on Friday.
The gave up freedom-fighter has been recognized as Anuj Phukan, an occupant of Chuladhara Tengapukhuri town in the region.
In front of giving up, Phukan was going through detainment in Arunachal Pradesh, said sources.
On October 23, 2022, ULFA-I freedom-fighters named Pankaj Gohain pseudonym Bhaurav Asom gave up before the Charaideo Region Police.
In Walk, 2022 as well, a framework of restricted Joined Freedom Front of Asom – Autonomous (ULFA-I) with Arms and Ammo gave up before the Assam police in Charaideo region. The caught ULFA-I part is Nilutpol Tamuli moniker Jagaran Asom.
He kept one 7.62mm MQ81 attack rifle, three magazines, 148 rounds of 7.62mm ammo, 25.700 kg of RDX.
