75 new COVID-19 cases have been reported in Mizoram.

Aizawl: Mizoram reported 75 fresh COVID-19 cases on Sunday, 47 less than the previous day, bringing the number to 2,25,533, a health official said.

The state received 122 new cases and one death on Saturday.

He said the number was 688 as there were no casualties in the last 24 hours.

There are now 745 active cases in Mizoram, while 2,24,100 people have recovered from the disease so far, the official said.

The state has so far tested more than 1.9 million samples of COVID-19.

As of Saturday, more than 8.37 million people had been vaccinated, according to state immunization officer Lalmuanawma Jongte.
