7 doctors for 1.17L: Why the people of Lawngtlai in Mizoram have taken to the streets

Lalrinsanga, a resident of Mizoram’s Lawngtlai district, was aware of the poor health facilities in his district. But realizing his pitiable condition, his cousin died.

There are many people in Lawngtlai and surrounding areas who lost their lives because they did not receive timely care and treatment. I know that This kind of situation has been faced not only by our family but also by many other families, ”he said.
