Kathmandu: A 52-year-old Nepali Sherpa has climbed Mount Everest for the 26th time, bettering his own record for generally number of times to scale the world’s most noteworthy pinnacle, endeavor organizers said on Sunday.

Kami Rita and his gathering of 11 Sherpa guides summitted the 8,848.86-meter top at 6.55 pm (neighborhood time), said Dawa Sherpa, chief of Seven Summit Treks Pvt Ltd.

The Sherpas made the campaign to fix ropes along the journeying course, to help climbers in front of the pinnacle climbing season beginning May.

The gathering moved through the conventional southeast edge course which was spearheaded by New Zealand’s Sir Edmund Hillary and Nepali Sherpa Tenzing Norgay in 1953.

This year the Department of Tourism, Nepal, has given licenses to 316 people to climb the pinnacle.

Rita scaled Mt Everest interestingly on May 13, 1994. Other than Mt Everest, Rita has additionally scaled Mt Godwin-Austen (K2), Mt Lhotse, Mt Manaslu and Mt Cho Oyu. He additionally holds the record for most ascensions north of 8,000 meters.

Till date, Everest has been climbed multiple times, many have climbed the pinnacle on various occasions. More than 300 individuals have passed on attempting to scale the pinnacle.
