Frustrated over the disruption, the students confronted Pranav K. Singh, Dean (Planning & Development), during the agitation.

According to students, Dr. Singh claimed to have close ties with Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) Chief Executive Member Pramod Boro, a remark that further fueled demands for accountability and immediate intervention.

The protesting students expressed anger over the institute administrationโ€™s silence and inaction during the crisis, alleging that the power cut had severely hampered both academic activities and day-to-day life on campus.

Calling the situation โ€œunacceptable,โ€ the students urged the authorities to take urgent measures to restore normalcy and prevent such disruptions in the future
